The corect answer is 8.
solution:
Each amount is the product of the preceding digits in the series.
Such as:
1st amount is 66, if we bifurcate 66, it will be split into 6 and 6, so the probuct of 6*6 is 36.
similarly, we have to slpit 36 into its constituent digits i.e. 3 and 6. Now multiply 3 with 6, the answer is 18.
And now, 1*8 =8.

The answer should be 6.
Process: 6*11=66, 6*6=36, 6*3=18.
So, when we observe the differences of 11, 6, and 3, they are in the form of 5, 3. So, the next preceding prime number is 2 and hence we should subtract 2 from 3, we get 1. Therefore, the answer will become 6*1=6, and that the correct option is B.

Nine may be the answer, the reason is that.
6 + 6 = 12 * 3 = 36 which is next term.
3 + 6 = 9 * 2 = 18 again it is next term.
1 + 8 = 9 * 1 = 9, it may be the answer.
6 + 6 = 12 * 3 = 36 which is next term.
3 + 6 = 9 * 2 = 18 again it is next term.
1 + 8 = 9 * 1 = 9, it may be the answer.

Hi Gowthami:
Its like 66 no u just multiply 6*6=36 which is next term ,
again multiply 3*6=18 which is next term,
finally multiply 1*8=8 which is the result.

Answer may be 6.
For 6 * 11 = 66; 6 * 6 = 36: 6 * 3 = 18; 6 * 1 = 6.
Now (11 - 6) = 5, (6 - 3) = 3, (3 - 1) = 2.
And,
5 - 3 = 2: and 2 - 1 = 1.
For 6 * 11 = 66; 6 * 6 = 36: 6 * 3 = 18; 6 * 1 = 6.
Now (11 - 6) = 5, (6 - 3) = 3, (3 - 1) = 2.
And,
5 - 3 = 2: and 2 - 1 = 1.

Answer may be 6..
The reason is
differences between two consequitive number are ..
30=5^2+2,18=4^2+2,....so next differences should 12=3^2+5
