The series are set of triplets. The sum of three numbers is the next number.

Using this logic we can determine 50 as the answer.

Adding 3 numbers like;
1 + 3 + 4 = 8,
3 + 4 + 8 = 15,
4 + 8 + 15 = 27.
so here;
8 + 15 + 27 = 50.

It is the sum of the three Consecutive numbers like :

1,3,4,8,15,27
1+(3+4)=8.
3+(4+8)=15.
4+(8+15)=27.

Like wise add the other numbers to get 50.
So, 8+(15+27)=50.

Can anyone tell me?

Why your logic does not fit on 3 also. You are starting with taking first two number 1 and 3, why?

If it is sequence it should follow for (2nd digit is) 3 also.

Please explain me.

1*3+1 = 4.
4*3+3 = 15.
15*3+5 = 50.

Must it be in that series to get the answer? there should be another way out. Adding the difference between each and multiplying by the first two difference.

25 x 2 = 50.
