I don't agree with position T because they said T is not btw Q and S but T can be btw any other combinations no like R & S, R & Q combinations by properly placing Q, S, T in empty three places along with R & P combination also. So, data inadequate is correct for this.

It is given that T is not b/w Q and S. But in the explanation, if we start from Q/S and travel in the anticlockwise direction the T is b/w Q and S. Then why T be b/w P, R, Q and S be placed one after the other?

Please do check the question it's not clear and correct.

@Alaok and pavani, Read the question carefully, its mentioned that "T is not between Q and S but some other one", it means between q and s there is something other than T, so obviously T can't be with Q and S. So its the reason that the position of T is fixed.

"T is not between Q and S but some other one." this statement can also be read as T is not between Q and S but it is between some other pair ie T can be between P and are or Between S or V or between are an Q. So the position of Q, S and T cannot be deduced.

"T is not between Q and S but some other one. " this statement can also be read as T is not between Q and S but there must be some letter between q and S so it must be R. The automatically position of T fixed.

Here we want any other statement about T's position. Just like T is immediate left of P or immediate right of R and here they mentioned T is not between Q and S, then how can put T in between of Q/S and V?

@All.

"T is not between Q and S but some other one".

This means that there is someone between Q and S but that someone is not T.
Now if we keep Q/S in place of T. This condition will not satisfy.

In question they clearly mention that between q and s must be something but not q. So the possibility is for R only. The Q and S should be neighbors of R. Remaining position occupied by T.

I think that we cannot fix the position of T, Q, S. It's said that T is not between Q and S, but nowhere mentioned like something is between Q and S, so how to fix those?
