This is not about how they were photographed, from back or front.

If you follow the directions stated above. Seema is the answer for sure.

Let me clear it,

If they were photographed from front, then they were facing South. And you will have to consider their left /right from their back. And if you allot their position from their back, then you have to answer it also from their back side.

Correct order is - Marry, Reeta, Rani, Seema, Bindu all are facing South. Now go to their back and tell me who is second from the left. It would be Seema.

And if they are facing North, the correct order is- Bindu, Seema, Rani, Reeta, Marry.

Here, Seema is second from the left side.

The whole point here is how do they look in the photograph. From the photographer's perspective, yeah it is Reeta. But imagine looking at the photograph, the order won't change.

It must be Reeta because a photograph is like a mirror. In the mirror left becomes right and right becomes left. So in the photogragh the order changes.

How can it be seema? It should be Reeta who'll be seen 2nd from left in the photograph. Are you taking their picture from their back by the way?

The answer should be Reeta because it is asked in a photograph. In the photograph the actual arrangement would be reversed.

The answer should be Reeta as they were photographed there faces will be on the south side (front).

I think @Madhav got the point. For some odd reason, they were photographed from the back :-).
