S H L M P J R J (OR)
J H L M P J R S .
CHECK above conditions.

If we go by the situation given, the position of 3 persons has not been defined.
So, there are many answers related to j, s, & t's position, as per my answer option {d} is correct.

There is a confusion between the statement 2 and statement 5. If harry lives just next to left of Larry then how mike comes in between Paul and Larry. These statements are unclear.

Harry is just next to the left of Larry.
This condition means harry is in left side of larry. So the arrangement must be like LH.
Why all are writing in the arrangement HL?

Adding to what @Bhanupriya explained HLMPJRST AND HLMPSRJT are possible so in any condition option 4 can't be a correct statement to make thus, option 4 is the answer.

The correct answer is SHLMPRJT.
Clearly from the conclusion. Read the conclusion and judge. There can be only 3 person right to paul. So simon can't be after taud.

We do not need to find J and S position and even it is not clear so the arrangement will be like:
J/S R J/S P M H L T
SO TAUD IS NOT IN BETWEEN JACK AND PAUL.
J/S R J/S P M H L T
SO TAUD IS NOT IN BETWEEN JACK AND PAUL.
