Yeah, the answer is south-west.
It's clear from the followed diagram because in this question it is been clear that they ask in which direction of y is p so they clearly ask the position of p with respect to y is South west.

I am getting the answer as south-east.
1) X(west) --------------------------Y (y is east of x) means x is on west.
|
2) Z is North of x -------------------------direct Y is for P (in which direction of Y is P) so if you go Y to P (south-east)

3) P is south of Z.
