We can do it like this too see first add all the numbers 12+18+30 = 60 ( 6x10=60)
Then 16 + 24 + 40= 80 (8x10=80)
45 + 18 + 27 = 90(9x10=90)
So the answer is 9.
Then 16 + 24 + 40= 80 (8x10=80)
45 + 18 + 27 = 90(9x10=90)
So the answer is 9.

(12,18,30) are multiples of 6.
(16,24,40) are multiples of 8.
(45,18,27) are multiples of 9.

See 12+18 = 30/6 = 5.
16 + 24 = 40/8 = 5.
45 + 18 = 63/7 = 9.
16 + 24 = 40/8 = 5.
45 + 18 = 63/7 = 9.

12-30 = 18, so smallest number subtraction by 18-12 = 6
16-40 = 24, so smallest number subtraction by 24-16 = 8
45-27 = 18, so smallest number subtraction by 18-27 = 9
Therefore the answer is an option (c) 9.
16-40 = 24, so smallest number subtraction by 24-16 = 8
45-27 = 18, so smallest number subtraction by 18-27 = 9
Therefore the answer is an option (c) 9.
