@Mr krishna according to option 3. O may be either mother or father to N so without knowing the gender how can we decide. If gender mentioned as O is mother then answer is correct for option 3.

How can we say that sex of O is not known?
It is clearly mentioned in statement that A x B means A is the son of B. So in option [A] O x N mean O is son of B. It means O must be a Male person.

C is the right answer. O%N means N is the daughter of O and M+O means M is the brother of O. Now since M is the brother of O and N is the daughter of O, therefore M is the maternal uncle of N.

The question is to find the maternal uncle, and the gender of O is not given we can not determine if the uncle is maternal or from the fathers side.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Looking closely at Option C.
N is the Daughter Right of whom -> O
Where M is the brother of O.
But, As M belongs to the side of the family of O.
i.e Answer is Uncle.

Answer C is exactly correct because relation of o is clear. Maternal uncle means mothers brothers and question want only gender between M and N so option C is correct.

C is the correct option.
The question was to determine if M is the maternal uncle of N and not if N is niece/nephew of M. So, the gender of N here is not needed.

@All.
No option satisfies the given scenario.
This doesn't imply we are unable to say just because we don't know the gender.
Anyone, correct me If I am wrong.

According to me, the answer is c. Because here, we have taken M and O instead of A and B and B is daughter of A it means M is brother of O. O is female.
