The answer is D. But I want to say that the explanation is given is not true given okay. I can explain why, the reason is in each option O's gender is given as in 1st O was the son of N, 2nd option O was N's son again and the last 3rd in option O is the daughter of N. But in explanation, they said O gender not Mentioned.

C is the right answer as question demand for the relation between M and N so the gender of the O does not really matter In both odds (If O is mother or father) M will remain the maternal uncle of N.

The question is mentioned that material Uncle. Mother's Brother is material uncle. Father's brother is paternal uncle. According to the question, O is either Father or mother of N, the gender of O is not given. So Answer C is not satisfied. And the correct answer is D.
