A is the correct answer:-.

1) If lata is FEMALE, then the person (boy) in Photograph is the brother of Lata.
2) If lata is MALE, then the person (boy) in Photograph is the brother of lata.

Hope this is helpful.

Answer. Is brother because we have started from "my" because latha is saying it means latha is represents to my.

And now statement is latha having grandfather and now to his grandfather one son having to him a son and latha it means both are brother and sisters.

Data is inadequate, as his father might be the only son, but he may have a sister. It's not like it's written that he is the only child.

Lata grandfather's only son her father. Question is he is the son of the only son of my grandfather. "He is the son" denotes Lata's father's son. So Lata is a brother of photographer.

Grandfather->father->lata (daughter) ->brother.

Late related to the man is BROTHER.

Here it is not mentioned that Lata grandfather has only one son, that's why answer is cousin or data insufficient.

"He is the son of the ONLY SON of my grandfather" does not means that that grandfather is not having any daughters, it means that there is only one son but did not mention information about daughters of grandfather so there may be a chance of having daughters also to the Grand Father.

If Lata is the children of grand father's daughter then the relation will become "option C: Cousin".

So, I suppose the answer is option D.

Answer should be D. insufficient data i.e. he could be Lata's brother or cousin.

Here in this question, it cannot be exactly inferred that " only son " refers to "only child" hence, the correct option should be D i.e. Data Inadequate.
