The question say Q is grand mother. i.e. female.

In option B C & D just look at Q it is with % sign and % means father ie male, hence only first option is right.

To determine which relation shows that Q is the grandmother of T, we need to examine the options based on the given symbolic relationships:

1. A + B means B is the brother of A.
2. A x B means B is the husband of A.
3. A - B means A is the mother of B.
4. A % B means A is the father of B.

For Q to be the grandmother of T, we need Q to be the mother of T's parent. This can happen if:
- Q is the mother of a person (let's denote as P) who is the father or mother of T.

Now, let's analyze each option:

(A) Q - P + R % T.
- Q is the mother of P.
- P is the brother of R (not relevant).
- R is the father of T.
- This means Q is the grandmother of T.

(B) P x Q % R - T.
- P is the husband of Q.
- Q is the father of R.
- R is the mother of T.
- Here, Q is the grandmother of T.

(C) P x Q % R + T.
- P is the husband of Q.
- Q is the father of R.
- R is the brother of T.
- This does not establish Q as the grandmother of T.

(D) P + Q % R - T.
- P is the brother of Q.
- Q is the father of R.
- R is the mother of T.
- Here, Q is the grandmother of T.

Now, looking at the choices, both A and B indicate that Q is the grandmother of T.

However, since we want to select *one* option from those four, we can confirm:
- (A) shows Q as the grandmother of T.
- (B) also shows Q as the grandmother of T.

Since both A and B qualify, if forced to pick one, A would be more straightforward as it directly shows maternal lineage to T.
So, (A) Q - P + R % T is a valid relation indicating that Q is the grandmother of T.
