A is the brother of B and B is the sister of C and C is the father of D.
So, A+B-C are brother and sister. D is either son or daughter of C. Hence D is related to A is an uncle.

A, B, and C are brother and sister. Then C is the father of D.
Father's (C) brother (A) and sister (B) means paternal uncle.
The relationship between A and D is paternal uncle.

Since the option given is nephew the answer could be niece too. Therefore the option of can't be determined that's "D" is the correct option. I hope you understand.

[]=male.
() =female.
Now start:
a brother of b.
b sister of c.
Since c is father of d it means c is male.
Here d^s gender is not defined then we have to chose answer 4.

The answer will be "c" because whatever you give the explanation is right, but niece is not there in the option. So we conclude that the answer is definitely "C".

A, C = Male,
B = Female,
C = Father of D.
It means that A, B, C are brother & sister with one another and D is their cousin. Hence A will be the uncle of D.

It will be D.
Because A and C are brothers B their Sister and C is the father of D.
So, obviously, if it is male it will be nephew if female it will be niece.

Why can't the answer be C i.e Nephew?
Agree that D can be either nephew or niece, depending on whether they are male or female, which is not mentioned.
