This option is wrong.
The correct answer is the Father.
Because. A ------ brother ------ B.
B ------ sister ------ C.
C ------ father ------ D.
D related to A. = Father (all ABC son or daughter).

A is the nephew of D.
(Because it is clearly stated that - A is the brother of B i.e.- A is male). Isn't it!

A and C are brothers and B is the only sister of both A & C.
C is the father of D but here not represents D gender. So we don't know whether D is niece or nephew how should we assume D as nephew, No we can't.
So, the answer is " Cannot be determined".

Since A, B, C are siblings, Daughter or son of C i.e. D should be nephew or niece in relation from A to D. Keeping in mind that from D perspective of view, He or she will view it as an Uncle and not nephew or niece. However, since gender is not mentioned and the question directly asks about the relation from A to D and not D to A. The correct answer should be not defined since the uncle is not mentioned in the option.

Although the sex of D was not defined, only one aswer fit the results (Nephew). That should be the answer. Had the test given option of Niece and Nephew, I would agree that the answer would be D. The correct answer based on the options given has to be C.

Why can't the answer be C i.e Nephew?
Agree that D can be either nephew or niece, depending on whether they are male or female, which is not mentioned.
