Lets Go in the reverse order.

"Dheeraj is the father of Sudeep who is the only brother of Ashok."
Breaking the sentence into parts.

1) Dheeraj is the father of Sudeep (Dheeraj is male i.e plus sign)
D+ -----> S.

2) Sudeep who is the only brother of Ashok. (Sudeep is male i.e. plus sign again)
[ S+ --- A ].

So, Dheeraj have only two children, among which one is surely male(Sudeep), we don't know about Ashok.
D+ ------> [S+ --- A].

Now Veena comes into picture,
" Veena who is the sister-in-law of Ashok, is the daughter-in-law of Kalyani ".

Let's break it again.
So,

(1) Veena is the sister-in-law of Ashok.
AND she is also;
(2) Daughter-in-law of Kalyani.

We already have D+ -----> [S+ --- A ]

Lets analyse condition (1) "Veena is sister-in-law of Ashok" implies veena is female i.e. V-

Since Ashok have one brother, that means Veena is wife of Sudeep(S+ = V-).
So, we get D+ -----> [ ( S+ = V-) --- A ].

Let's analyze (2) " Veena is daughter-in-law of Kalyani" that means Kalyani is Sudeep's/Ashok's Mother and wife of Dheeraj (their father).
so, we get (D+ = K-) ----> [ (S+ = V-) --- A ]

Now the question says "How Kalyani is related to Ashok?"
Answer : Mother, which is not given in option a, b or c.

We have to take the best option that fit the question.

i.e Veena is sister in law of Ashok.

It means she may be the sis of Ashok's wife or wife of Ashoks bro i.e., Sudeep.

But however in the question they emphasized Sudeeps relation with Ashok. So we have to consider Veena as Sudeeps wife.

Here many possibilities for Ashok's the Sister in Laws Right?

So, In question, only one way to veena is sister in law of Ashok that is Sudeep's wife.

Try to built relationship from given in the questions.

I think it makes sense and from this, anyone can solve this.

Sister-in-law can be in three ways as follows:

1. The sister of one's spouse.

2. The wife of one's sibling.

3. The wife of the sibling of one's spouse.

So accordingly answer can be given in three different ways.

Can anyone tell me which way to proceed?

It means that Veena sister is married to Ashok and Veena is the daughter in law of which house it cannot be the same where it's written that Kalyani is the mother of a shock.

Since brother of is Sudeep and father is Dheeraj? So let me know the answer.

@ Kartik Sharma.

Veena is sister in law of Ashok that implies she is a wife of Sudeep who is brother Ashok. Veena is the daughter-in-law of Kalyani that implies that she is her son wife.

So above answers are logically incorrect.

How?

It may be 'C'.

Because other meaning of sister-in-law is wife's sister.

If this is the relation then kalyani is mother-in-law of veena.

And she is aunt of ASHOK.

And the option is given.

Why veena may not be the sister of Ashok's wife, that also is the sister-in-low of ashok. In this way, also the answer is none of these.

It is not necessary that if venna is sister of ashoks's then she will be daughter in law of same house so as an assumption she will not.

Sister in law also means the sister of someone's husband or wife so how can we solve a question if it has two meanings?

Please reply.
