Here's my explanation for the answer.
"My mother" → Aamir's mother.
"Only brother of my mother" → Aamir's maternal uncle.
"Only nephew of my maternal uncle" → The only nephew of Aamir's maternal uncle would be Aamir himself (since his uncle has only one nephew, which is Aamir).

What if this "uncle" (only brother) has another sister other than Amir's mother? (She will be the maternal Aunt of Amir). If this Aunt has a son (who will be another nephew of this same uncle), Sonia could be his wife too.
In which case, she is Amir's cousin's wife but not Amir's wife!

Hey don't get confused.
Take last sentence "only brother of my mother" (ie) its aamir's uncle.
And "only nephew of only brother" (ie) its aamir.
"She is the wife of only nephew" (ie) its clear she is wife of aamir.
So answer (A) wife.

Hello there how can you define the gender on Aamir there is no such clue?
Aamir can be the niece and some other person can be the only nephew and hence Sonia can be sister in law as well.
