 Arvind said: (Jan 12, 2011) Q*M+P

 Aditya said: (May 2, 2011) q*m+p

Murali said: (May 6, 2011) q*m*p OR q*m+P BOTH WAYS ARE CORRECT

 Kamal Gusani said: (Jun 29, 2011) Q * N * M + P. Is correct ? Because we also can tell "grandfather" to the mother's father's father ? Tell me if I am wrong.

Omprakashpandey said: (Aug 6, 2011) Yes Kamal you are also right man.

 Chirag said: (Sep 24, 2011) I think answer may be Q * M * P..!! Q*M = Q is father of M M*P = M is father of P. P's Father is M n father of Father is Q so thts why "Q is grandfather of P"..!!

Simha said: (Sep 24, 2011) Yes boss you are right.

Pratibha said: (Sep 28, 2011) OPTION D is the correct answer. To be precise they are talking of third generation. Anyway for Grandfather from mothers side is know as Maternal grabdfather.

Gaurav said: (Oct 31, 2011) Here the answer will be 'maternal grandfather'.

Vani said: (Dec 24, 2013) What we call father's side grandfather?

Raj said: (Feb 22, 2014) Which it's sum right answer exp?

Anuja said: (Jun 2, 2014) For mothers fathers father is called great grand father @Kamal.

Saleesh said: (Oct 6, 2014) Here in the first step we have to see the gender of Q. Then we have to see the generation gap between both.

 Anusha said: (Jan 6, 2015) I think its P+N*Q.

Anusha said: (Jan 6, 2015) @Vani, We call our father's father paternal grandfather.

Anusha said: (Jan 6, 2015) @Karan Gusani. I think you are wrong because you call your mother's father's father great grandfather.

Rani said: (Feb 12, 2015) D cause Q*N*P will be right answer.

Moon said: (Aug 12, 2015) Option D is correct! Because: 1. In option A:- P is great grandmother of Q (P is mother of N is father of M is father Q, 3 generations). 2. In option B:- Q is great grandfather P (Q is the father of N is the father of M is mother of P, 3 generations). 3. In option C:- Q is the uncle of P (Q is the brother of M is brother of N is father of P). So the last option "None of these" is correct.

Abhik Sheel said: (Oct 26, 2015) @Kamal Gusani you are wrong. As that relation is not called grand father, it's called great grand father.

 Jay said: (Dec 3, 2015) What is the means Q P N R notation?

 Prexa said: (Jul 8, 2016) The correct logic is Q * N * P.

Ankur Jain said: (Oct 7, 2016) Nice explanations. Thank you all.

Ameer Hyder said: (Dec 26, 2016) It should be Q*M*P.

Anand Raj said: (Feb 5, 2017) I think Option 'B' is right answer.

 Shah Idrees said: (Mar 31, 2017) According to me, the correct one is Q * N * P + M.

M.Vidhya Rani said: (Jun 30, 2017) I think Option B may also correct! Because, Q is the father of N. N is the father of M. M is the mother of P.

Sayantika Sanyal said: (Sep 18, 2017) I think d is the correct answer i.e.none of these. Because other answers do not clarify the question. The answer will be Q*N*M but here is no option for this.

Shaikkhaderbasha said: (Oct 28, 2017) Answer for this question is D Because it based on the generations first option answer is great grandfather or mother. As for the second option, the answer is also great grandfather or mother. As for the third option, the answer is father or mother based on generations. So the answer should be a grand father. Father/mother comes under the first generation. Grandfather/grandmother comes under the second generation. Husband and wife comes under zero generation. Brother/ sister comes under zero generation. So the answer should be 2 generation. First option is 3 generation. Second option is also 3 generation. Third option is 1 generation. So the answer is none of these above.

Ashiya said: (Jan 23, 2020) According to me, the last answer was correct because while doing 2 option we get q is the great grandfather of p. But in question, it's grandfather. So 4 option is correct.

Tokith said: (Jul 5, 2020) Q*N*P+M is correct, it satisfies the condition.

Shruti said: (Jul 17, 2021) Only Option B satisfies the condition correctly.

 Hirudheya said: (Aug 20, 2021) It's Q*M*P.

Hirudheya said: (Aug 20, 2021) No @Shruti. Reason: Q FATHER OF N FATHER OF M MOTHER OF P. Check it that + denotes mother of.

Solin said: (Sep 10, 2021) Q*N*P+M is correct, it satisfies the condition.

Prashant Kumar said: (Nov 19, 2021) Q*N*M+P is the correct answer.

Vamshi Manda said: (Jul 14, 2022) No @Peashant Kumar. It should be great grand father, not grand father.
