A person who studies maps is called a "cartographer", so why was it the wrong option?

Why isn't option D?

A geneticist studies chromosomes. Numismatics is the study of coins. Am I right?

Option C is correct because this numa list collects the coins (not studying the coins), jewellers sell the jewellery, geneticists will study the chromosomes, but only philatelists collect the stamps (like coins).
