Remove middle digit from 123 --> 13^2.
235 --> 25^3.
Middle digit becomes power of remaining number.
235 --> 25^3.
Middle digit becomes power of remaining number.

Why don't we think like this? If 123 in this remove 2 and then it is 13 square. And 235 from this if 3 removed then it will be 25 square.
