If you draw a distinction or make a distinction, you say that two things are different.

Distinction between any two things is commonly said like this but in the case of this we can say that it is not like that and we have to say it.

I don't think it is correct. 'Distinction' is a noun and 'Different' is an adjective. It should either have been: 'Distinction' and 'Differentiation' OR 'Distinct' and 'Different'.

Distinction here means a level, grade, or degree of excellence, importance, or difference (e.g.“passed with distinction”).
Degree also refers to a level or grade of something, especially in terms of rank or quality, which matches this sense.
Diffusion: Spreading something widely, like light, gas, or ideas.
Disagreement: A lack of consensus, where people do not share the same opinion.
Different: Not the same as another; showing a contrast.
