We use "about" after "discussion" for example we had a long discussion about the problem.
But when we write"discuss", we don't use "about" after it.
For example: we discussed the problem.
Trick is : a discussion about something to discuss something.

If are we used the word discussed (verb) so after don't use prepositions.
