It's a superflous case where discuss means talk about. So, the Answer A is correct.

When we used to discuss, there was no need to use about, so the right answer was option A.

Correct me, if I am wrong.

The answer is A.

The error is the use of "about" after "discussed".
The verb "discuss" is a transitive verb that does not require a preposition after it; "we discussed the problem" is the correct construction.

I think answer c is correct because here "it" repeated two times, which doesn't need. Correct me, If I am wrong.
