The grammatical error in the sentence "We discussed the problem so thoroughly" is the use of "about. ".
Here's the correction:
Original: We discussed the problem so thoroughly.
Corrected: We discussed the problem so thoroughly.
In English, the verb "discuss" typically takes the direct object of the thing being discussed, not "about" followed by the object.

C is not correct because "discuss" is a transitive verb. Therefore it does not require a preposition.

''Discuss and Describe' do not take preposition Ãbout' because there is already included meaning in these words.
