Certain phrases after "to" follow gerund.
Ex: Abstain from ..... avoid from ..... be used to etc.
Ex: Abstain from ..... avoid from ..... be used to etc.

What about C, I was lying is also wrong, it should be I were lying. Can anyone help with this?
