"Can" shows that there is most possibility of outcome in bound with the person's work.
Where "will" is the indefinite future regardless of work.

Will indicates in sentences a volition that means willing, determination, and promise. As far as this question is concerned we should prefer the answer to no error. Because in the subordinate clause we can guess his willing or determination and as we know that conditional sentences having a part simple present while other part future indefinite so therefore it is nothing wrong with the answer D.
