Why should not write like this :I will certainly write to when I shall reach Delhi.

Is it not 'I shall certainly write to you when I reach New Delhi'?

Pradeep said:   1 decade ago
After when we can not use future, hence shall is not used.

Thanks vertika.

Reaching delhi is sure. So no use of "shall", but writing to you when I reach there is not sure, although it is certain that I will write to you but its not sure. Therefore, "shall certainly" is correct. Am I clear?
