What about using "get adapted to" instead of "adapt themselves to"?

I think noun should before pronoun. So both A and B is incorrect.

If Wherever Indians go they easily adapt to local circumstances. Then it would be right, but here first noun is not described (tense is started with they) so themselves is used with Indians.

Transitive verbs like adapt, avail etc. We use pronouns himself, herself, themselves compulsory.

A transitive verb is one that only makes sense if it exerts its action on an object.

Transitive verbs can't be followed by a preposition. So 'adapt to' is wrong.

Themselves is required because if it is not used the sentence seems like adopting to somone else. The sentece explaining that we adopt ourselves wherever we go.
