A few = some, so a few is the right answer.

'a' will be used before countable nouns (singular).
Eg: I bought a computer.
"AN " will be used before a vowel word like (optical, honest).
'THe' will be used for Pre-introduction.

Few and a few both are correct.
Few = some.
A few = expected + some more.
Few = some.
A few = expected + some more.
