The word "impartial" is the most effective choice in the given sentence because it conveys the idea that the person in question does not take sides and remains fair and unbiased in their judgments or actions. This fits well with the context of someone who is careful and does not exhibit favoritism or prejudice.

The other words, while related to the concept of being unbiased, may not fit as precisely in the sentence or may have slightly different connotations:

"Unbiased" is also a suitable choice, but "impartial" is more commonly used in contexts like this.
"Neutral" implies a lack of preference but may not necessarily convey the same level of fairness and impartiality.
"Prejudiced" is the opposite of what the sentence is trying to convey, as it means having a bias or preference.

I think "prejudiced" should be the correct answer because the presence of 'but' in the question is indicative of the fact that the person being referred to act opposite to his nature of not taking sides.

Moreover the authenticity of 'unbiased' and 'impartial' is suspected as they stand opposite to what is mentioned in the question.

Prejudiced means To cause(someone) to judge prematurely and irrationally.
but here he is very careful person therefore prejudiced is wrong

Also Unbiased means showing no prejudice for or against something; (BUT HERE NO SCENARIO IS MENTIONED AGAINST OR FOR WHICH HE WILL ACT).

THEREFORE CORRECT IS IMPARTIAL.

Logic 1: Impartial, neutral and unbiased are synonyms and choosing any one of them would lead to confusion. Hence, the last option left is the answer.

Logic 2: The 'not taking sides' is contrasted with the word 'but' which leaves only option on the opposite side of balanced = prejudiced.

Unbiased is used for things. Hence impartial is used. And prejudice is no where fitting in this sentence.

Prejudice means and unfavorable opinion without knowledge or reason.

Unbiased and impartial are the same as 'not taking side'. As there is a 'but' there has to be something which is opposite in meaning to the first part which is 'prejudiced'.

I think the answer should be prejudiced. Because in the sentence there is a "but" which is a thought reverser. And all others options are supporting 1st part :).

I also think that prejudiced should be right as there is a reversal of in the meaning of the sentence. As all the other three options mean more or less the same.

I think impartial or unbiased should be the correct answer not prejudiced. It is given in the sentence that "he does not take sides".

I think D part is correct due to presence of BUT. He never take side means directly he is not taking side, may be indirectly.
