So, difference is Illumination me SOME EQUIPMENT or bla bla. Will make something bright whereas LIGHTENED me something ITSELF will become bright LIKE CLOUDSS.

Illuminated is correct one it means to decorate somthing with lights where lightend means to give light but it may be not in the sense of decoration so option c is the correct one.
