I also agree with @Ankit and @Ankur, he has also should come last in the paragraph as it concludes about the work he has done.

In 1 they give "intellect does not speak". So I think not speak means he sang. So 1 follows 5.

Ya the correct sequence would be 4-1-5-3-2 because this makes meaningful passage.
