Trick to answer this ques:.
Read the 1st sentence.
"but it is hard". The next sentence should describe what is hard. "to tolerate even unavoidable facts".
So we get order PS. Now eliminate the options which don't contain the sequence PS.
Now valid options are c&d.
Option D makes the sense. So the answer is D.
