It's a conundrum.

It's violating a sacred place.

Heresy = a belief or an opinion that is against the principles of a particular religion; the fact of holding such beliefs.

Blasphemy = behaviour or language that insults or shows a lack of respect for God or religion.

Desecrate = to damage a holy thing or place or treat it without respect.

Sanctity=
1. The state of being very important and worth protecting.
2. The state of being holy.

Blashphemy and desecration also mean the same as sacrilege so it would be better if the two options should be removed as this will arise a kind of problem for the candidates.

Sacrilege and blasphemy and desecration all three mean the same.

Sacrilege: the violation or profanation of anything sacred or held sacred.
Blasphemy: impious utterance or action concerning god or sacred things.

I guess blasphemy, sacrilege and desecration have got the same meaning. Please clear my doubt.
