As they have mentioned in sentence about ARMED FORCES, it must be either battlefield or honour.

The right answer should be derived from word "harness" and not with "Army". I think this is to create confusion between the choices. Thanks @Ashish @Sukeshi.

In armed forces, not everyone goes to the battlefield but others serve different sects in the Forces, so it is an honor for soldiers to die on duty.

Guys "die in harness" means "die before retirement" according to a dictionary the given answer is correct.
