Friends, Undoubtedly drive home means to return to home/ original position, but as the phrase is used as an idiom, Its meaning can't be inferred from the words that make it up. So it is used in a different context here.

It's clear in this example- The manager used charts and statistics to drive home his message that we need to economize. (To emphasise an important point to make it clear).

Hey friends.

Here is its actual meaning!

It can have two probable meanings:

1. Carry out or perform.

Ex: The boxer drove home a solid left.

2. Make clear by special emphasis and try to convince somebody of something.

Ex: I'm trying to drive home this basic idea.

"To drive home" means to emphasize or make something clear and understandable. It involves stressing an important point or ensuring that a particular message is fully understood by the audience.

Essentially, it is about reinforcing or highlighting the significance of something.
