Option A:.

After driving professor Kumar to the museum she dropped him at his hotel.

The subject in this sentence is she (lady the doer) , who drives and drops (action). The subject in this sentence acts on the verb.

Hence it is a active voice. To find the passive voice the verb should act on the subject. In simple terms the subject should follow after the action is completed.

In option A, the subject is missing as in passive voice the subject of the action is not important, the action is more important.

Active (progressive) voice (expressing) :: >>.

When using the active voice, the subjects are the ones performing the action.

Ex: God loves all men.

Passive (inactive) voice :: >> In the passive voice, the verb takes an object.

Ex: All men are loved by god.

We do not have passive voice for following:

1. Future Perfect Continuous Tense.

2. Past Perfect Continuous Tense.

3. Present Perfect Continuous Tense.

4. Future Continuous Tense.

In the transform of active to passive we should use object as subject and according to that subject we use verb.

And the recognition of passive voice we should use by most of time. But in this case I did not get. So I m confused why option A is correct. Any one help me please.

In changing of voices we should considered the sentence as Direct/Indirect form then it is easy to change the voice.

In the given sentence the verb+ing will be changed to being+past participle, so that they had given,

driving = being driven.

In voice change continuous tense changed to participle and simple past can get change into past perfect. Hence I support option A.
