Condense means making something denser. Means making something more concentrated than its usual amount or size. Similarly, expand means making something larger than usual. Expand would be the exact antonym to answer your question. Why not congest? Congest is an adjective. Where it is not a verb done. Congest means crowded area. It's not making something to shrink or compress both expand and condense are verbs.

According to me condense is the correct answer because expand means-to become to or to make something bigger.
Condense meaning - to reduce to a shorter form.

Expand is just like something wide, therefore congest should also be considered. When they say something is congested it's just like an opposite to expand.

Expand means to become bigger in size.
Its Antonym will be "becoming smaller in size".
So, The Antonym will be Compress.

Congest may be related to the answer but the right answer is condensed which suits exact opposite word to the given word.
