Hello everyone. So. I am here to share my interview experience of TCS. First of all. I am glad to enter my experience here.
First there are three rounds in TCS interview process for me. 1st I attended aptitude test. In which it consists of three sections.
1. Quantitative.
2. Logical.
3. Verbal ability.
Concentrate on all topics as much as possible. There are lot of sample questions available in IndiaBix which helped me a lot in interview. Then after a month I got a mail as I have cleared the aptitude test. So next technical round.
As everyone knows. First they asked me to self introduce myself. Then they asked me what are all the programming languages I know and what I have learnt during my academics. I told them C C++ python DBMS etc. And they asked me which was my fav programming language? I was quiet good at C programming. So they asked some basic questions from C language like array, pointers, memory allocation, static variable, diff b/w C and C++, call by value call by reference, then they asked some questions from oops concept. What is data abstraction, class, object, etc. And some more questions I couldn\'t remember now. They asked me all these questions and told me to explain with a real life scenario or an example of it. So be prepared with an example for each and every topic you prepare.
And finally in technical round they told a program in oral and asked me to explain. And don\'t understand that and I told I don\'t know. Then they asked me whether I can put some coding of any language as my wish. I told yes and explained it too. Then my HR came. He asked me some basic questions like self introduction, why TCS?, why do we hire you, ok with relocating?, shifts, agreement etc. After 2 weeks the result came I was selected and they sent me a offer letter. And this was my interview experience. I hope this helps someone at any point.
Note: prepare well for the interview and don\'t just go and sit blank without even knowing the basic concepts of programming languages which you are already good at. And some basic English knowledge is enough.
Just have some positive vibe and let\'s hope for the best!
BEST OF LUCK! for your interview process.
