TCS Interview Experience - Kolkata, 17th August 2019

Hi, from the year 2019 TCS has started TCS NQT for selecting students across India for different posts in TCS.
The online exam took place on 3rd August, 2019 which comprised of:
1. Verbal Ability.
2. Aptitude.
3. Technical CMCQ.
4. Programming [1 code].
Unlike other year this year most of the question was Fill Up the Blank type instead of MCQ.
The result for the exam got declared within a week\'s time and within 2 days I got the Interview date and location.
Generally the Interview consists of 3 rounds:
1. Technical Round.
2. Managerial Round.
3. HR Round.
If luck is at its peak then one need to face just 2 rounds out of which Technical is a mandatory. In my case I had Technical and HR round. It was a 25 mins interview.
As I entered I was asked to sit and asked what are your favourite subjects since I had knowledge about DBMS,Data structure so I said so. Then I was asked what is my preference over languages so I said Java.
I was asked the following things:
1. What is exception handling?
2. Why is it used?
3. Write a code where you can imply any two OOP concept.
4. What is Polymorphism? What are the types?
5. What are Unique and Primary key?
6. What are the different kinds of Exception in Java?
7. What are the different searching techniques?
8. What is normalization?
9. What is Data redundancy?
10. Explain 2NF.
This is how my TR happened and out of the 10 questions I could answer 8.
Then my HR started:
1. Where do you stay?
2. Are you available for night shift work.
3. Being the only child in your family will your parents allow you to go outside and work.
4. What if you don\'t get in TCS?
5. Where did you complete your schooling from?
6. Why is your Physics marks in class 12 so less?
7. Don\'t you think you shouldn\'t have taken Engineering with this poor Physics marks?
8. What if we send you to North East for your training will you be able to cope up over there?
And there were some other questions after which I was asked to leave for the day.
On 13th September, 2019 I got the offer letter from TCS. This was my experience hope it would help others too.
