I am an CSE student. When our placement cell informed about the TCS ninja exam in our college, I applied immediately. I will share my TCS Interview Experience.
The placement process had two rounds: online written round and interview round.
ONLINE WRITTEN ROUND:
The test was conducted on september 2.
TCS Ninja English questions:
English section is one of the easiest to score. In this round there were fill in the blanks type questions. I had to fill answers using the option provided with the blanks. The english section was pretty easy.
Quantitative Aptitude:
This section contains 20 basic aptitude questions which you have to solve in 40 minutes. This section was time consuming and I found difficulty in solving this. I was not able to attend the advanced question.
Programming Concepts:
This section consists of 10 questions which you have to solve in 20 minutes. This question was easy for me. I was able to solve the advanced question too. Basic datastructure question were asked mostly.
Coding:
This Coding section consists of one questions, which are required to be solved in 20 minutes. I was asked to write a program about string manipulation. I was not able to clear all test cases.
The exam result was displayed within two weeks. I cleared the first round successfully.
Interview Round:
I was asked to attend the interview on 05 Oct 2018. The interview was conducted in skype. There were two person namely HR and TR.
Interviewer: Introduce yourself.
Me: I did. Since they told to introduce myself by mentioning my name, I did not tell my name during my self intro.
Interviewer: What is your favourite subject?
Me: Data structure.
Interviewer: Write a program to traverse in linked list.
Me: I wrote partially and explained.
Interviewer: What is pointer, variables, array and some basic c programming question.
Me: I explained with examples.
Interviewer: Explain your project.
Me: I explained my project which was academic management system.
Interviewer: What is DDL,DML? Some SQL queries.
Me: I explained and wrote it.
Interviewer: Why TCS? And some general HR question.
The interviewers were friendly and did my best. On 09 Oct I got an mail that I was selected. I was very happy because TCS was my dream company and I got selected in my first interview. Hope my experience will be helpful.
