Hello everyone. I attended TCS off campus drive & I would like to share my experience.
2nd DEC 2015: Online exam was held. Question very moderate but without preparation you will not be able to perform well. Questions in maths aptitude where from topics like probability, permutation, number system, time & work, Time & distance, mixtures mainly. Verbal section was email writing (easy, but format of email writing should be known). For me exam was tough but managed to clear!
11th DEC 2015: Interview - 3 rounds.
1] Technical - Being EC student, I was mainly asked about rectifiers, mobile communication, CDMA, GSM, (some I couldn\'t answer, but tried), about my project & to know my knowledge in programming, I was asked to write string reverse program, which I did. I was also asked questions from Java (basics only) & from SQL.
Questions like tell me about yourself, why I wish to join TCS, why should I be hired where also asked. [This round was bit tough for me]
2] MR round - After long wait, I was informed about selection to next round. I was asked about my project in this round, my role in making the project. This round was easy!
3] HR round - Was soon after MR. I was asked to tell about myself, my whereabouts, what change I would like to make in society, how I will work in a team & so on. Basically this round checks communication skills & attitude of the candidate. So answer truly & with confidence. (Do not bluff or try to end conversation in a hurry)
After 2 weeks, I got my offer letter! I learnt a lot from IndiaBix to prepare for TCS drive. So I thought to share my experience as it had helped me!
Be confident & clear while you speak. If you do not know some answers to questions, it\'s OK to say I Don\'t know or I can\'t recollect!
ALL THE BEST!
