Placement Papers - TCS

Hi friends! I attended the TCS off Campus Drive at Hyderabad.

I am BHAIRAGONI VIJAY GOUD (B VIJAY GOUD), Graduated from RGUKT-IIIT BASAR Dept of Electronics&Communication Engineering.

First of all, I would like to say thanks to IndiaBix to those who have shared their interview experience which has helped me a lot regarding how to face interviews.

There were total 4 rounds in TCS off campus drive:

1) Written Test:

- EMAIL Writing (10 mins).
- Aptitude Test (30 Questions).

2) Technical Round.

3) Managerial Round.

4) HR round.

Okay let\'s start my experience.

1) Written Test:

On Dec 2 2015, I attended written test at MLR Engg College HYD, I have attempted 22 Q. After 3 days they announce result through mail, I cleared it. And after two days they inform me my technical round venue. It was on 12 DEC 2015.

2) Technical Round (12th DEC):

The second round was scheduled on 12th-DEC Morning, that\'s TR and MR. It went on till night and it follows like this,

Tr: Tell Me about yourself?
Me: Told.

Tr: Do you attend the TCS drive at your campus?
Me: Yes sir.

Tr: Then what happen?
Me: I have cleared the all the rounds but in HR they rejected me. I don\'t know why, but I am confident enough at that time.

Tr: Tell me about your projects.
Me: I have done total 4 projects. 2 academic projects, one android and another one is Robotic project.

He asked me some questions on my projects and my paper presentation from my resume.

Tr: What programming languages do you know?
Me: C, basics of Java and android.

Tr: In which language you are confident.
Me: C language.

Tr: What is pointers?
Me: I told.

Tr: Can you write a program using pointer? Write it on the paper?
Me: I wrote it. (he asked me some questions on the program.)

Tr: Why we are using the pointers in C language.
Me: I told.

Tr: What is the difference between Java& C++ & C languages?
Me: I explained it briefly.

Tr: Do you know about DBMS.
Me: I know only basics sir.

Tr: Draw the ATM flow chart?
Me: I did it very clearly.

Tr: Tell me some subjects from your ECE.
Me: I told some subjects.

Tr: What is embedded systems? (and some more questions on that)
Me: Told and explained.

Tr: What is mainframes?

Tr: Why TCS?

Tr: What is your goal?

Tr: Your from ECE, then why are you coming to software side?

Tr: Ok all the best.
Me: Thank you sir.

3) Managerial Round (12th DEC):

Mr: Hello Vijay! Your from.
Me: I am from Nizamabad, graduated from RGUKT BASAR.

Mr: Tell me about yourself?

Mr: Why TCS?

Mr: Do you have any dream company?
Me: I don\'t have any dream company but I have a dream to work for the TCS organisation.

Mr: If you get a chance to work in GOOGLE, HCL & TCS. Which one will you choose.
Me: Of course TCS.

Mr: Packages are different, Google 6 lack per annum, HCL 5 lp, TCS 3 lp. Which one will you choose?
Me: GOOGLE sir.

Mr: Then why are you here. Go and attend Google drives.
Me: Sir here I choose by looking at package because I am economically poor so first of all I should balance my economical background then as my dream company TCS, will be back to the company sir.

Mr: Tell me about your family?
Me: Told.

Mr: How many projects do you have done?
He asked me some more questions on from my resume.

4) HR round (13th DEC):

Hr: Good evening Vijay! How was the day.
Me: Good evening madam. I am very exiting for this meet since morning.

Hr: Okay, How is your TR & MR?
Me: Very interesting question in MR and Logical question in TR. I enjoyed it and I explains the programs in words not on the paper so he impressed I think so.

Hr: Why TCS?

Hr: Why should I hire you?

Hr: What is your goal? Where you want to see after 5 years?

Hr: Who is your role model?

Hr: Who is your strength?

Hr: Who is your weakness?
Me: I don\'t have a person as a weakness but I feel hurt when people talking about me bad, at back of me and in front of me. At that time I feel lonely and I used to listen music and solving Sudoku to recover from that mood.

Hr: Did you find any mistakes with TCS, in any fields like placements and services. If any thing is there any suggestion for that.
Me: As per my knowledge and as my research on TCS by seniors and on websites I didn\'t find any mistakes and bad info about TCS.

So If I get into TCS, I may know any mistakes at that time will try to solve the problems.

Hr: Okay Vijay, we will announce results after 1 week you can go now. All the best and best of luck your feature.
Me: Thank you madam.

That\'s it.

On December 24th evening I got the offer letter that little part of my life is called success.

I am really very thankful to TCS.
