Placement Papers - TCS

Guys, I am sharing my aptitude as well as interview experience with you all.

Aptitude consists of 2 Sections:

1. Verbal contains email writing in 10 mins by using given words. First write starting and ending salutations and then fill in the middle part.

2. Aptitude contains 30 questions wherein there is negative markings. There are 2 star marked questions which contains more marks. The sums consists of geometry questions as well as permutations and combinations.

Major topics are Probability, Algebraic equations, Number Systems, Time & speed, Work, arithmetic progression & geometric progression. There are repeated questions so do prepare from campus gate.

Approx 150 gave aptitude from which 55 cleared. The number is less because many students attempted all. Be sure and then only mark otherwise leave it.

Next day we had Technical and H.R.

In Technical, I had 3 Interviewers in front of me. Guys never panic always stay confident. They asked me to introduce my self and I did. Then asked me that which was your favourite subjects in curriculum. As I am from I.T, I said Software Engineering and System web security. They asked me about different types of Testing and DOS attack and how to prevent it. Guys be prepared with any 1 subject but you should know overall about that subject. Then they asked me to write a code to sort a array. I did it. They generally ask why TCS and not others so be prepared. My Technical went awesome and then we were called immediately for H.R . In H.R they just want to check your confidence and fluency in English. They asked me about relocations and I said I don't have any problem in it. Guys please say that you don't have any problem because they have a policy by which they will mostly give you in your region. It also went good.

After an hour or something they declared results and I was selected and approx 35 were selected.

Guys the only key to crack interview is be precise and accept if you don't know, be confident with whatever you speak, have a smile on face and be relaxed.
