Hello guys. TCS came for campus recruitment at our college and announced that the top 5 students will have to give verbal and the codevita candidates (ranked under 1000 after round 1) will face a direct interview and others will have to pass through both aptitude test and verbal.
As I was selected from codevita, I had to go through direct interview. I just want to add that after aptitude test many deserving candidates were eliminated so prepare well. RS Aggarwal and IndiaBix is enough.
For us, on the 1st day we had to just give the application forms and cvs and were told to bring codes in the pendrive, the next day.
28th Sept,
My interview started at about 4:45 and went for just 15 minutes.
Some of the questions were:.
Q. How are you? Do you need water?
Q. Why should I hire you?
Q. Explain me this problem (I had done this problem so explained confidently). He also gave me a sample case to which I found out the output.
Q. Tell me something about the project. (I told him about an internship project that I did at webel bhawan).
Q. Do you have any relocation constraints? Can you work in Sri Lanka, Afghanistan etc.
Q. Have you ever implemented an innovative idea? (couldn\'t answer convincingly but I tried my level best and said confidently).
HR interview started at around 7:30 and went for just 5 minutes.
Q. Relocation constraints?
Q. Where do you stay.
Q. Do you know about the tcs service agreement.
Finally at around 23:30 hrs my name was announced and I was one of the 131 placed.
