Placement Papers - TCS

Hi friends!

I want to share my interview experience with you. I belong to SASTRA University.

In general the TCS process consists of 3 rounds which comprise of,

1. English Comprehension Test.
2. Aptitude.
3. Technical Interview.

At the time I appeared for TCS. There were 3 Streams namely,

1. Below 75% - These students have to attend all the 3 rounds to get into TCS.

2. Above 75% - These students will only have English comprehension Test and the Interview.

3. CodeVita - This is the global coding competition held by TCS all over the world every year. Those who have cleared Round 1 of codevita and being among the top 1000 members of the codevita are exempted from the English comprehension test and the aptitude as well. So, these students will face direct interview.

I belonged to both second category (above 75%) and the third (codevita). So, they made me to go through the codevita. I faced direct interview and my interview is based on coding. They asked me to explain the code what I have done in the codevita competition and they have given me a new problem to solve. I have done that. The interview lasted for 40 mins. After that there is a formal HR interview. Finally I waited for results and I got placed in TCS.
