Tata Consultancy Services Interview Experience - Delhi, March 11, 2015
1. Online Aptitude test - consisted of an Email to be written in 10 minutes and after that 30 Aptitude questions to be solved in 80 minutes. In TCS aptitude Tests, one needs to be very attentive and applicative. The aptitude Test was organised on an all India level on the same day.
2. Result declaration of 1st round was done on 25th feb and later that day the location and dates for the later rounds were mailed.
3. Interviews - My interview location was Ghaziabad and scheduled on the 4th of March.
I. ) Tech. - The interview went on for more than half an hour and was not concentrated on 1 single topic or subject. He asked about favorite subject. Questions may be apart from technical skills as well. Mail for later stages of interview was sent on 9th of march and was scheduled on 11th of march in TCS recruitment office, Delhi.
II. ) As soon as I reached there I was redirected for MR round. It was a real stunner for me. The interviewer was a senior official and he stress interviewed me for almost an hour. The key to successfully cracking a stress interview is maintaining smile and not arguing with the interviewer.
III. ) After MR I was called for HR interview in an Hours time. It was simple one. But this time around, TCS rejected way many people in HR so be wary of it.
3. Results started rolling in the last week of march as promised. One thing to be kept in mind is that result of everybody is not announced at the same time, they take an order, maybe the CT number. I didn't get my result in that week as well. I was tensed, but then on 31st of march, tuesday, I got a mail conveying my selection.
I was very happy as I had previously appeared in 15 companies but was unlucky more often than not. So, the key to success is BELIEF.
