I gave my written test on 2nd March. Got my result on 5th march.
I was called for an interview on 10th March at Greater Noida.
There were around 300-400 students.
There were three rounds Technical+Management+HR.
We were called at 9 am sharp but my turn for TR came at 3.30 pm.(There was a break of 20 mints in between for lunch).
As I am from Mechanical background I was very nervous regarding the questions on coding.
TR(1 member was present).
Q: Hello Shubham... How are you?
Me: I am fine Sir, Thank you..
Q: Please tell me something about your self?
Me: Told.
Q: So you are from mechanical.... What is your Favorite subject?
Me: Material Science.
Q: Draw the Stress VS Strain diagram?
Me: Made.
Q: What is Hardness?
Me: Told.
Q: Tell me the first Law of Thermodynamics?
Me: Told.
Q: Tell me the Difference between 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines?
Me: Told.
Q: Tell me the difference btw Petrol and Diesel engine?
me: told
Q: How much is the efficiency of a internal combustion engine?
me: Told.
Q: Tell me about the cement manufacturing process?( as i did my major training in a cement plant)

Q: Tell me something about 3D Printing ? (as my final year project was based on
this).
Me: Told.
Q: He made a man on a piece of paper.. and basket(full of fruits) . He told me that there is a distance of 200 m between them. As the man is a lazy fellow.. What will he to so that basket comes towards him?
Me: I said I will make a drone ( I remember that IIN advertisement) :P
Interviewer: There is a limit for drone to lift the load. What if the basket is heavy and its a continuous process.
Me: If its a continuous process then I will use a Belt conveyor.
Interviewer : Correct answer.
Interview : Thank you Shubham.. You can leave now.
Me: Thank you Sir.. It was fun ;).
Around 150 students were asked to leave after the Tr round.
I completed my TR round at 4 pm.
I got a cal for MR round at 10.30 pm.
MR( 1 member)
Q:How was your day?
Me: I am starving since morning.. :P
Q: Tell me about yourself?
Me: Told
Q: As a Mechanical Engineer why do you want to join TCS?
Me: Told.
Interviewer: Ok Shubham you can leave.. Send the next one.
I got worried as my MR interview lasts for not more than 2 mints
But immediately after that I got a call for HR round at 11pm.(very few people made it to this round)
HR(1 member)
Q: So Shubham... How will you go back home?
Me: I will manage somehow.
Q: Do you know about the agreement?
Me: Yes.
Q: Are you willing to relocate?
Me: Yes mam, not a problem.
Q: Please read and sign this declaration.. (it was about the joining date i.e. before 31st march)
Me: Signed.
Interviewer: You can leave now.. we will let you know about the result by email.
I got my offer letter on 15th. :)
