Placement Papers - TCS

Hi friends,

I attended TCS placement drive in my college. Candidate having 78% in engineering and 75% in 10th and 12th do not have write Aptitude. I was also direct for Interview. First round was Email Writing. There were some keyword and using those words we have write Email in minimum 50 words. Question to be was:

Write a Email to manager, Swati about cleanliness of workplace of workplace. Sign in as Anna.

Workplace "clean" Dirty "window - glare" Productivity "switchboard" Work "environment" Employee - "improve" problems.

I wrote in around 70 words. Result for Email was announced soon I was through for TR now.

ME: Good afternoon madam.
TR: Good afternoon, Can you tell me something about yourself?
ME: I told Name, Place, Branch, 10th, 12th, Skills, Hobby, Goals.

TR: What is Topology?
ME: Configuration of Nodes and Links with little description.

TR: What are the types of Topology?
ME: Star, Bus, Ring, Mesh and explained.

TR: What are the software you learnt?
ME: C, Matlab, Kiel, Cadence, ECAD, Quartus (VHDL).

TR: What is RADAR?
ME: Radio detection and Ranging.

TR: Working and application?
ME: Told. With aeroplane example.

TR: Explain Communication block diagram?
ME: Source, Transmitter, Channel, Receiver, Destination.

TR: Can you write a C program to check Number is divisible by 3 or not?
ME: Wrote.

TR: Wait outside.

Next in afternoon I was called for MR round.

MR: Tell me about yourself?
ME: Told same.

MR: What are your strengths?
ME: Hard working, Punctual, Creative.

MR: What makes you different from others?
ME: I can apply multi-dimensional approach for one problem.

MR: Tell me about your place?
ME: Told some important places with history etc.

MR: What are places you seen in your life?
ME: Agra, Kolkata, Shillong, Arunachal and Rajasthan.

MR: What is TCP?
ME: Shocked. But replied properly.

MR: What is HTTP?
ME: Application layer protocol. With its uses.

Soon I was called for HR.

HR: Tell about yourself?
HR: Why you want to join TCS?
HR: What do you know about computers?
HR: Are you flexible?
HR: He told me about some conditions and bonds.

Finally my HR was over.

In evening results were announced and I was selected for TCS.
