Placement Papers - TCS

Hi friends, My name is Reshma(MCA) from Amrita school of arts and sciences, Kochi campus.

TCS conducted online exam in our university campus with 1800 students.

First round had Aptitude + Verbal.

In verbal, It was all about Mail Writing & 30 Aptitude questions. (students having >=85% need not take Aptitude test).

Topics:
1. Time and work.
2. Probability.
3. AP,GP.
4. Geometry.
5. Problem on ages.
6. Calendar.
7. Mixture Allegation.
8. Permutation and Combination.

Results were announced and intimating that 1495 cleared the exam.

I was one among them.

We were informed that, On 18-9-2014 we will be having interview.

HR+TR:

I went inside and submitted my Resume.
They asked few question in HR and most of them from TR.

1. Express myself.
2. Explain about my major and mini project in UG.
3. Difference between Class and Object?
4. What is tuple?
5. What is attribute?
6. What is agile?
7. Explain object oriented concept?
8. What are the software models?
9. What is prototype model?
10. How many normal forms are there?
11. what is 1NF,3NF?
12. Show how we delete intermediate node in singly linked list and doubly linked list?

After these much of question they said no more question you can leave. All the best.
Results were announced on 19th. I was selected.
