HI friends.

I\'m Vijaysingh Thakur, Studying B-Tech in the field of ECE in RGUKT-Basar.

I would like to share my TCS-interview experience with you.

TCS recruitment as follows:

1. Written test.
2. Technical Interview.
3. Managerial Interview.
4. HR.

In our college More than 1500 students (ECE+CSE+ME+Civil+Chemical+MME) applied for Test.

Usually TI + MR/HR. Only 2 rounds are going to held but in our campus total 211 students got selected in Written test in which only 53 students step into TCS finally.

In written test there are 2 sessions,

1. E-mail Writing.
2. General Aptitude (-ve marking 0.33, star* questions carries more marks and more -ve too. ).

In email writing (10 min) : this is very simple session, Only thing we need to take care is our grammar, sentence formation and in which tense we are using. Please don\'t do any spelling mistakes. Mention all the phrases given. Order is not important. Time is very constraint.

If at all one know how to manage time in Written test He/She\'ll simply crack the exam.

Search for TCS Basic email formats. IN my email writing I remember words like.

General Aptitude: (Total 30 questions, 80 mins).

Please follow CAT-Quantitative Apti By ARUN SHARMA (rather than RS Aggarwal).
In Probability I got 3 same questions from that I answered very simply as I remembered.
Answers too (1. Problem regarding Pack of cards that one suit is missing.

2. Motorbike number plate arrangements 3. Probability of winning game).

Upper cutoff and lower cut off are there in our written test. I attempted only 20 questions in which 2 are * marks questions carries more marks.

Technical Interview:

Sir: Wishes.
Me: Wishes.

S: Offered snacks which are over there.
M: Denied and thank for their offering.

S: Asked me to explain abou major project and mini project.
M: Neatly explained with pen and paper.

S: Do you know C ?
M: Yes sir I know the basics in C and a bit programming too.

S: Actually what you people are want to do in TCS?
M: Told.

S: Why the manholes are round in shape?
M: Told close to the answer (ans is circle is the only shape which can\'t fit into its won shape).

Managerial Interview:

Tell me about family background?
Why TCS?
What do you know about TCS?
What are the Clients and Services in TCS ?
Why you need job?
Why should I hire you?
I won\'t take you in what\'ll you do?
If you are in my position how you\'ll conduct interview?
Have you applied for GATE? WHY?
Do you\'ve any interest in higher studies?
If you got GOvt job after joining in TCS, will you go?
How you manage stress?
Are you ready to work in nights and weekends?

HR:

Tell me about yourself?
Hobbies.
As playing carroms is my hobby asked me to explain about game and conditions ?
Puzzles.

1. About sandclocks two sandclocks one takes 5 min time other 4 min.
I\'ve to calculate 7min using both clock.

2. 3 buckets are full 3 are empty in a line we\'ve to arrange 1 full 1 emplty by selecting only one bucket.
I answered only 2nd one.

He explained about terms and conditions in TCs.

Asked me to leave.

After 10 days. Awaiting results announced. I got selected.
