Hello guys,

This is Yash from swami Vivekanand college ECE branch.

TCS conducted a pool campus drive on march 2014 for colleges which are not accredited with the company. So a huge crowd appeared for the online aptitude test as all branches from all the left out colleges came in. So online test occurred on 8th of march.

Students were divided in different slots for the online test. Online test was actually logical based so no any special aptitude was required as intelligent and logical thinking could easily crack the test without mugging any special formulas and the only important thing to keep in mind was to manage the clock while solving the questions. Business letter writing was equally important, so a good typing speed is advantageous.

Results came on 11th march evening and we came to know that only 218 students from the whole city were shortlisted.

After that we were called on 15th march for the interviews.

My number came late in evening and thus I was a little tired so the technical interview went as follows:

TI: Tell me about yourself ?
Me: Told.

TI: So you are good in programming ?
Me: Told.

TI: Write a program for swapping of two strings.
Me: Wrote.

TI: WAP to print a calendar.
Me: Wrote.

At this time they were really impressed and sent me to the HR.

HR asked general questions and I answered all very calmly.

Finally result came out late nite nd I got selected.

Finally only 14 students were selected from the whole city and I was one of them.
